Marty Friedman Plays Football..

Hi everyone..now, most of us must be enjoyed watching and following the World Cup 2010 right..here i want to share with you song i been put in inside my Creative Muvo mp3 player recently..FYI i cant sleep without music..so mp3 player is the only solution..

1. Prequel to the sequel (Between the buried and Me)- nice composition and guitar works from the guitarists..i love the harmony in the intro solo.
2. The fire and the Fury (Firewind)- perfect shredding in the intro and delicious melodic solo in the end.
3. Forced March (Earth Crisis)- a blasting hardcore song that reminds me of what really happenned in the Middle East now (Israel invasion to Plaestine).
4. Kaeritakkunattayo (Marty Friedman)- cool cover song from guitar god, Mr Friedman. Marty plays his way and sounds like this song is belong to him!! Original artist is Ikimano Gakari.
5. Tobaber (Neil Zaza)- perfect melodic instrumental song..if you ever listened to a song called 'jauh kau pergi', the melody is almost similar. listen to 'jauh kau pergi' and you'll know what im talking about :)
6. Psychosocial (Slipknot)- double bass drum, dropped tuning guitar, breakdown and attitude vocals, u name it....RIP Paul Gray..

2010's budeget for a new guitar

i didnt realized that i didnt bought any guitar since early this year.
maybe it is because of my preparation for my marriage (hehehe) so it should be my priority of 2010. deep in my heart i wish i could own gibson les paul custom..but what can i say, i have to buy a diamond ring..

Fender Avalon acoustic (Vintage)

This is my acoustic guitar, Korean made Fender Avalon. Lets take a quick tour on the specification:

Avalon leaned beside Vox AD 50 VT hehe..(amp sekadar hiasan, lagipun takda jack nak cucuk pun hehe..)



I had replaced the tuner since i cant find the original fender tuner for this particular guitar here. In my opinion, it sounds good and i still love to play it.

its time to work again after having 6 weeks off. i need to prepare my physical and mental for a challenging working days offshore.

Koleksi aku

Haa..ni kira penulisan yang pertama ni. so aku nak share la dengan korang pasal hobi aku atau kegilaan aku ni. satu hari tak buat boleh pening ni.

so kita start dengan perkenalan dengan gear-gear aku la kan. ni la pic dia. kita mula dari yang paling kiri dulu: First Act guitar (made in Korea) yang aku bagi nama Raiders. Kebanyakan aku main untuk lagu rock/ ballad. Tapi sekarang jarang dah main Raiders ni. Second left: Fender Strat 3 tone sunburst (made in USA) dengan 70s headstock, nama gitar ni Febia. Sebab apa nama Febia, ada la makna di sebaliknya tu hehe. Febia ni banyak aku main untuk semua jenis lagu termasuk metal, tapi paling berkuasa untuk genre music blues/jazz/rock. Sebelah Febia tu ialah Ibanez RG 32o FMTL (made in Korea) yang pick up nya sudah di upgrade ke Seymour Duncan JB (bridge) dan Seymour Duncan Jazz (neck). Sebelah Ibanez tu pula ialah, tak lain tak bukan "my favret gear" Jackson Warrior (made in Japan), dengan nama samarannya Dimebag (mengingati hero aku Dimebage Darrell dari band Pantera). Dimebag ini dilengkapi dengan pickup Duncan Designed (humbucker) dari kilang. kalau tengok rupa pickup ni memang sebiji macam Seymour Duncan Invader. Dan akhir sekali, Fender Avalon acoustic (made in Korea). Bunyi masih steady lagi walaupun dah berusia 20 tahun. Gitar ini memang sesuai untuk main chording. Sweet bunyi dia. Gitar ni dah tak diproduce oleh Fender lagi la setahu aku.

Itu sajalah yang aku nak share kali ini. Lepas ni, insyaallah aku akan review satu persatu tentang gear-gear kesayangan aku ni dalam blog yang akan datang.
